Hi Rob. Unrelated comment. Love your you tube channel. Also just finished reading your book. Excellent! I’m going to persuade our 20 year old son to read it now. He’s in college at BU so pretty busy. Nonetheless now’s the time…. Thanks again for all your content. Without question I’m a better investor now given your ongoing information share.

Great video, as always Rob. By the way, 1973 was when Nixon was president . He resigned in 1974 and Gerald Ford, his VP, became president.

Great video. Is there a way to track value of treasury securities and other bonds which have a CUSIP number?

Thanks for the tool videos. Empower ( formerly Personal Capital ) can't classify many of my investments ( calls them "unclassified" ) even though they are standard such as corporate bonds, baby bonds, treasury bills and notes etc. It handles equities, preferreds, ETFs just fine. I remember having this same problem years ago when Personal Capital first started.

Great videos. Could you do one on whole life / universal life policies? I have had one for the last thirty years and now realize I was duped. Is there a way to stop throwing good money after bad? Keep up the good work.

Would LOVE a bond tracker for a portfolio of individual bonds, preferreds, baby bonds, and the like.. Would like to have it analyze my duration, avg yield to maturity and yearly income payout. But one does not exist I guess.. Empower did not recognize any of my income portfolio .

In the investment tracker google sheet, is there a way to copy and insert the copied rows instead of adding one line at a time? Tia

Do you know an inflation tracking app? I am looking to enter prices of my regular purchases over 3 years to see if official inflation matches real inflation (I suspect inflation is larger than what we are told).

Rob, it looks like you need to correct the spelling of the word in cell H4 on the "By Asset Class" tab. I also noticed that the Plan vs Actual chart shown at 14:35 in this video does not appear on my local copy of the spreadsheet after I initially opened it in Google Docs (where I do see that chart) and then did a File, Download and saved it in Excel .xlsx format. I don't know why the chart would disappear when the file is opened in Excel on my Windows PC instead of via Google Docs.

Rob, first time viewer - -I was looking for stock portfolio management SW. I use excel now, but it does not track purchase date and tax exposure of the total portfolio. Also on graphics, I can use RMS lines, but only for the whole graph, it is a lot of manual changes to track all of this. Do you know of any that do the tax liability tracking, (obvious reasons) and graphical segment tracking? I need something a little more full featured. ?

Thanks again for this effort.

I never heard of the other tools besides Empower (formerly Personal Capital). Thanks for sharing. However, I am wondering if there is a tool out there that can tell you how much of a specific stock you own (% or $) from all the index or mutual funds you have. For example, let's say I have 10, 000 shares of the S&P 500 and 20, 000 shares of another mutual fund. Is there a tool that will quickly tell me how much AAPL I own ($ and %)? Nice to know if one is overexposed to a specific stock.
