Spyderco Ikuchi Full Review and Discussion

This little spyderco was much more enjoyable than I expected fun and functional

I had an Ikuchi and eventually sold it. It's a great design but it could use larger washers to help eliminate side play while dialing in the centering and a bit more access to the compression lock. The handle width would probably have to grow a bit to pull it off but I think these tweaks with some nice micarta scales would make an amazing Ikuchi 2.0. The wheel flipper is awesome.

I got this knife and i love it, soo easy to carry even in light sommer clothes.I agree that the cfply is not very pretty but on a knife this small you need all the "grippyness" you can get so a pure carbonfibre would not work as well imo. i would prefer a nice G-10 over cf.

IMO, the carbon fiber laminate on Spydercos is unacceptable, CF is NOT unobtainium!. Other brands have carbon fiber on knives well below $100 while spyderco sticks to their crappy laminate on $300 knives. Other than that, that's a nice and unusual design.
