Here's a first look at the T-Mobile G1 Google Android phone's gesture based unlocking mechanism.

It comes on the phone itself. I recommend getting this phone too, it's pretty awesome. Also the HTC Touch Pro is really good.

ok i have problems since i got my g1 unlock but now im in another country out of the usa were they dont use t mobile sim card and its lock how can i un lock it can i use another sim card with data serv. from another comapany?

I guess so. It's not demonstrated in this video that you can actually move to dots diagonally as well. Very good.

It needs more dots. There's not many options if all you can do is make one path.

@Jengawoo i doubt it... 9 different nodes which a max of say 12 ( i dont know the max but u can do more than this) 9^12 = 80244904034304 different combinations ftw

every few times you incorrectly input the inlock pattern you have to wait a few senconds to try again. the more you enter incorrectly the longer you wait..
