Watch Mom Bravely Rescue Puppy Trapped Inside Garbage Bag Left As Roadkill

Malissa Lewis drove by something truly frightening. It was a black garbage bag moving off the side of a fairly desolate road. With no idea what was inside, she opened it anyway. Turns out it was an adorable 8-week-old puppy she believes was left as roadkill. Malissa brought the little guy home and appropriately named him Hefty. Her family's welcomed the lab boxer mix as an addition to their Kentucky family and going to keep him. Police are investigating who dumped the dog. #InsideEdition
