We need Assam and Assam need Nagaland, we share borders which cannot be altered. It is better for both states to live peacefully and strive for mutual coexistence for the sake of our future generations. I urged the educated people from both states to come together and speak out against any forces that is trying to create unnecessary tension at the border areas. This is not the first time, the Assam police trying to create problem at the border areas. Is it not the duty of police and administration to maintain law and order and ensure peace. Kudos to Nagaland police for intervening at the right time, we are proud of you that you remember to live by the oath you take to uphold. Dear brothers and sisters living in the border areas especially in Mokokchung, Dimapur and Wokha district, our prayers are with you all.

🔥Assam-Meghalaya..👉It is also seen that during bifurcation of states and NE-Reorganisation almost all *green forest foothills i.e Reserved Forest* used by tribals for shifting cultivation were given as a gift to Assam i.e. by central govt during bifurcation ....back then many tribal leaders were unaware of this tactic and were happy to get statehood unaware that their territory was being shrunk and some declared as *reserved forest*

Many areas were divided in a hurry by Central Govt. without detailed survey in field it was drawn in a small paper in DELHI.... as a result many tribals lands and population got seperated

*It is only now* that many tribals have awaken as large areas of the forest claimed by Assam as "reserved forest" are inhabited by tribals since time immemorial.

*The very sad situation* is --

1) These tribals living in forest are being seen by Assam as illegal inhabitants or forest encroachment

2) To sustain the land grab ..Assam is actively encoraging illegal immigrants be it from Bangladesh or Nepal to settle in such areas.

3) Central Govt have never demarcated boundary nor conducted actual field survey its a Shame..Supreme Court should take action and pull up the Central Govt.

4) The central government draw the boundary in a piece of paper in Delhi in a scale without detailed field survey... making it impracticable to identify in actual the boundary and impossible for supreme court to settle using maps therefore maps are very very in-accurate.The culprit is Central Government in Delhi sitting in AC room while NE States suffer the neglect by Delhi Central Govt

*Note:* Assamese people are good peace loving but Assam Govt is playing politics ...we ask Assam Govt to produce an official map of Assam boundary in *1:100* scale to be able to identify boundary in field we cannot identify boundary with a scale map
