You have to be born again in order to be saved and inherit the kingdom of God, the kingdom of Heaven : place of love, joy, peace and rest in their fullness; instead to perish in the lake of fire for eternity: place of great torment and sorrows.

Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who died for our sins in order we can be reconciled with God our Father. He comes to destroy the works of the devil in us by his holy spirit, his law of spirit of life who condemns sin in the flesh .When we contemplate God our Father in Jesus Christ, our old men linked to our diabolical contemplation is crucified by the power of the Holy spirit( spirit of God).
