When Hitogami shows Rudeus future in his 34 years where he sealed completely, Rudeus appears before Hitogami and speaks with him.
THIS happens much later after Rudeus death. And Lara technically saw Rudeus soul after victory. Even all around asking about this.

In my eyes Rudeus soul technically not disappear in emptiness. He stuck in this world like free spirit because he "from another world".

Hitogami is actually not the enemy her he only tells truth and fact to rudeus he only lie when it comes to rudeus sons destiny to kill him but overall hitogami is literally the truth to that world.
