I loved Doris Mayday's 50's attire, home decor and sensibilities at once, and read that the producers stretched the truth a bit about the trash-bag footwear and her boyfriend not being permitted to own a cell phone. 'Carrot Lady' is well-recognized in the punk scene around LA; I've met her and she seems nice. My favorite: 'Airline Addict'. A SoCal guy has turned his garage into a replica of the passenger cabin of a 70's-era PanAm jet plane. I really want to see it!! Being near his age, I remember when flying used to be an exciting special treat.
