just straight piped our 38 foot Newmar 8.3 ISC. It sounds awsome.

I straight-piped my bus's Detroit 6V92 after I had the engine rebuilt last year - it sounds great! Two-stroke diesels are never quiet at best, but without a muffler my engine now growls and whines, and barks when I use the Jakes. Even the turbo, normally very quiet on a Detroit, whistles louder than any Detroit I've ever heard. I am worried however that it's now too loud, so I may need to replace the muffler otherwise I could get ticketed.
