Awesome video! Surprisingly I found my doctor on the cover of the World FUE Institute meeting that you put on minute 6:54. I didn't expect that. I had two hair transplants with Alejandro Chueco, who also trained with Dr Lorenzo in Spain a few decades ago. He also works with implanters and is considered the best surgeon in Argentina at these days. Planning my third intervention with him. Nice interview, bro. Appreciate that.

I actually never had a shed on oral finasteride. When I switched to topical i had a big shed.

Now, about 9 months later, I actually have fine baby hairs growing in the weak part of my hairline. I still take .25mg EOD orally just to be safe.

Wish oral fin worked better because topical does suck but I already used topical min.

Just switched to oral min so im hoping to get a new level of growth

What if you can’t use minoxidil? But can use. Dustasteride and finasteride. Is there an alternative from minoxidil?

Great interview! I see he used some of the soft nape hair this time, most likely for the temple peaks and maybe the hairline, right? Who would you say are the FUE donor management "wizards" meaning those who can access more grafts while preventing overharvesting and related issues? I'd say besides the obvious name of Dr Zarev that list would also include Dr Ferreira. But who else? Maybe Dr Bisanga?

Another reason against topicals: the donor area could thin without you noticing until it's too late. It's not immune to AGA. And nobody puts topicals there.

Quick question on your stay in Espinho: how did you get from airport to hotel and back (particularly post HT) - I am guessing taxi or Uber? Are they reliable? I am thinking of hiring a car as it's very cheap (£130 for 7 days) and more flexibility, but obviously I will not be driving until 3 or 4 days post HT. What's your thoughts?

Also what about immediately after your surgery, did you walk to your hotel or taxi it? My hotel is like 10 minutes walk (Monte Lirio) so I am thinking of just walking it with a black umbrella to protect from the sun., or would you advise I get a taxi?

Hello Doctor,

Doctor, I had a hair transplant a year ago and the results are excellent, but the crown area was not transplanted due to reasons specific to the center. My question is: can I use minoxidil on the crown area for a while and then proceed with a second transplant afterwards? Thank you.
