The Model of a Black Hole w/ Professor Brian Cox #cosmology

A black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothing, not even light and other electromagnetic waves, is capable of possessing enough energy to escape it. Einstein's theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole. The boundary of no escape is called the event horizon.

The best definition of plank limit. Let’s consider the unit of Planck length for a moment. The proton is about 100 million trillion times larger than the Planck length. To put this into perspective, if we scaled the proton up to the size of the observable universe, the Planck length would be a mere trip from Tokyo to Chicago. The 14-hour flight may seem long to you, but to the universe, it would go completely unnoticed.

the nature of spacetime and matter is deeply connected to quantum fields, gravity, and the topology of the universe. The fact that information content corresponds to the surface area rather than the volume reflects the underlying geometry and quantum properties of spacetime. It highlights the role of boundary conditions and suggests that the fabric of the universe may operate more like a hologram, where the fundamental descriptions are encoded on lower-dimensional surfaces.

Am i the only one thinking .. thats a detailed explanation of the word " DONT KNOW" of what the hell black hole does ;)

If we put a binary ping inside a black hole, the ping would stop since there is no volume in a black hole. Time freezes and doesnt exist in a black hole so the surface areas is the only place nearest a black hole that physics still functions

So when they say space and time, reverse roles. Does that mean the event horizon is the singularity?
So it's not really a hole, but a bubble, and everything gets smashed into its surface?

One-loop diagrams are usually computed as the integral over one independent momentum that can "run in the cycle". The Casimir effect, Hawking radiation and Lamb shift are examples of phenomena whose existence can be implied using one-loop Feynman diagrams, especially the well-known "triangle diagram"

In terms of informational geometry, only one dimension is needed to explain all dimensions. However that is just mathematical misinterpretations. Reality is beyond mathematical physics.

Why is it, we call it a hole ? Could it be a burn’t out cinder, of a former star. And what we’re viewing is the shell, of its former self ?

I know about former stars, at the end of their life cycle, imploding. However, is that the set expectation, for every dying star ? Instead of going out with a bang, perhaps some just flicker out, with a whimper.
How many stars have we’ve observed imploding ? Of course, those would be cosmic events. A death whimper, might not be so observable .

Someone define all elements in this equation, please?

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP....

I'm sure Brian thought this was simplied and dumbed-down plenty so anyone could understand it, however it's still 10 miles above my head.

1. What "information" can possibly be stored in a black hole??
2. Stored where? Are there hard drives or memory cards floating around black holes?? What part/ingredient of a black hole is capable of storing information??
3. How does any "information" even get into a black hole?? Are life forms throwing encyclopedias into these black holes?
4. Wtf is a bit??

Thanks for any insight.

If one travels at the speed of light, then can you go through a black hole if on a bend of symmetry 😮

It's like we're living in some kind of computer simulation where the big bang was the input and black holes are the output.
