Panasonic Lumix LX100 ii unboxing

Since finding my passion and interest in Photography, I've always wanted to include the Panasonic Lumix LX100 in my kit. As smartphones have generally replaced the consumer point and shoot camera, and are slowly developing 1" sensor phone cameras. Many 1" compact cameras like the Canon G7X, Sony RX100's and the Lumix range of cameras will have to find a new strategy to keep compact cameras in the market.
The LX100 uses a Micro 4/3s sensor and has a Leica 35-75mm f/1.7-2.8 lens built in. I considered this camera as an adequate tool for my kit, as the APS-C compacts like the Fuji X100 series, and Ricoh GR cameras tend to stick with a fixed focal length.

Camera is not weather or dust sealed! Clean that table!

Excellent camera.
Practical and sensible.

But very poor Marketing vs Sony, Fujifilm and Ricoh.

For general photography, the images are not significantly from much more over-priced and over-hyped camera costing much more.
