The state of a country is determined by the internal state of its people. In other words, if the people are inherently lawless, corruptable and generally apathetic in so far as lawlessness and other social ill's are concerned, it will manifest in society. Cele is a mistake on so many levels. The biggest problem with the "honorable Minister" is that prior to being appointed in this position he NEVER spent time in the shoes of the SAPS members he is "commanding". There are station commanders on ground level at some police stations that worked their arses off, have experience and are more capable to do what he is doing. What is he doing? A lot of talking and yet has no clue of actual boots on the ground policing. Standing on a stage spewing meaningless words is a waste of time as actions generally speak louder than words....and most people are gatvol of seeing him tell the country "sweet nothings". One has to wonder why, after his absolute poor performance shouting and was the first inebon the beaches during lockdown, but missing in action when the KZN looting occurred. Well....he did arrive there when everything was over with ALL his bodyguards you and I pay for. How is it logical that this man is still the Minister of Police?
