The output "issue" is not an issue, it's how pro audio interfaces work. You are expected to plug your monitors on the output of the interface, it doesn't make sense to monitor it any other way.

a friend of mine gifted me the boss rc 300 and i just recently discovered that i can use that as an interface :D i know i know im kinda new to this stuff thats why i didnt knew but man plugins and the interface are changing my life rn <3

Yea so, great video. Sadly the problem u have with the output is a problem that is connected with Asio and not the drivers or audio interface sadly it’s the standard.

the lock thing on the back is a Kensington lock. you can physically secure devices to this bike lock looking thing. think how laptops are secured to display tables in stores.

I ran into the same issue with being unable to use PC speakers as the output. Im assuming it's because the audio interface takes over as your audio driver so the pc speakers don't have an audio driver being used. Just bought some headphones to solve my immediate issue

Hello man, nice vid ! Lately I've been trying to figure out a nice setup to play (and maybe record) live with backingtracks (on daw) and plugins. By your experience, do you think the focusrite would handle this task or the (small) latency for this case would make it unplayable ? Thanks again m8, and congrats on the material !!!

So, I have this interface arriving this week, along with Mackie CR5 speakers. Are you saying that I'll need to connect the speakers (L, R Inputs) to the Focusrite outputs (on the back)? Then set Audio to focusrite ASB audio.

Hey man really nice heads up for first time buyers, I’m still thinking if I should buy this because (1) I only have a regular earphone and a beats headphone which gives me a question if the audio quality is higly dependent on the audio output you are using, (2) I only have a amd a8 pc which I am unclear if it can handle the lowest latency. I hope you can somehow provide an advice, thanks

Hey man thanks for this video. this is exactly what I was looking for. However if you didn't have spakers ( eg: using a laptop), wouldn't you be able to listen through laptop speakers with "Focusrite USB ASIO" option selected?

Do you need studio monitor to hear the neural dsp tone like an amp? I dont want to buy tube amps cause its pricey. And i want to explore a lot of amps using Plugins not buying amps.

Does your computer speaker or headphones are enough to hear good tones from Neural dsp plugins? Thanks in advance.

I just got the 4th gen today, and I have such bad latency, but Focusrite Control 2 is not giving me the same options as you in Focusrite Control 1. Do you have any advice? Thanks!
