He still has a valid point even if Shannon tried to twist it. Luka, Giannis, and Jokic don’t play on the same team. If they did, and they lost the championship Shannon would have a valid point. Having one international player on your team doesn’t make you a World Champion.

Noah did not tell a lie, he merely pointed out that being the champions of a USA league is NOT the same as being world champions. I think the way he proclaimed it, his tone implying mockery of the concept, has a lot to do with the blow back he is getting. But, Noah did not lie. 😊

Why are so many ppl being so dense re Noah's comments re the NBA?! He literally never commented on the US Men's Team when he simply pointed out that the winners of a National League shouldn't refer to themselves as 'World Champions' in the same way the winners of the EPL, La Liga & even Champions' League don't refer to themselves as 'World Champions' as there's literally a tournament for club teams called the 'FIFA Club World Cup' which determines that!

When you look at all the all time greats in the NBA, when you go to there championships, it say NBA Champions. MJ… 6x NBA Champion, Lebron… 4x NBA Champion.
When you play in the Olympics, you’re literally playing country vs country.
