My new macro m6 tool change. took ages to write and get it to save and validate everything! but now manual tool changes are a breeze. nothing worse than tring to reset heights when a dust shoe is fitted.
i implemented double touch probing instead of single due to speed. at high probing z speed i was seeing inacurate results (i was printing result to screen) using a second retract and slow probe i got accuracy result to less than 0.005mm every time . also using a probe which has signal on until probed allows for probe condition checking before probing unlike a metal plate. - its working superbly!

This is exactly what I'm trying to do in UCCNC. Please post more information and let me know if I can obtain a copy of your tool change macro and please let me know what probe you are using. Thanks. Jim

Hi I've tried a few of the M6 Marcos found at the UCCNC forum. I simply cannot get Them to work the Way yours do. Can I get a copy of it, and then modificere it to my small mashine. I hope you are Wellington to share it. Have a nice weekend, and merry Christmas.

Hi nice video
just changed from mach 3 to uccnc and am missing my tool change routine which is the same as yours have you published your macro anywhere I understand that machine positions ect are different but as i never written a macro before I dont know where to even start but have found in the past I can normally edit things to suit myself

I know it a bit of a cheek so feel free to tell me to get lost

Thanks For the videos though have helped me finding my way around a new system
