I am from the Mari village too! It's so great to hear a familiar language! I visit my uncle every year. There is so beautiful and quite place. We also keep bees and make honey. However, my relatives don't like me very much because I am a young city dweller with very modern views😄But I do love country life. Someday I want to move to live in the country. Thanks a lot guys! Beautiful countryside. Cultivation looks to be at a level not seen in developed countries for over 100 years (which is not necessarily a bad thing). With a population of around 140m people, the rural poverty does beg the question about where all the energy billions have gone in the last 25 years. Certainly not to the general populace.

Thank you ao much for this wonderful vibe from the childhood, it was the best time of my life and I think for many others. On summer holidays you go to village to your grandparents, help them in the garden, with animals, ride on tractor with family to the forest to collect mushrooms and berries or just spend whole day with your friends riding bicycle, playing outdoor games, playing poker and other card games till the evening (not for money, but for leaves 😄or interest). These were a great moments I miss so much 😢

This channel is doing good work showing foreigners a glimpse into the Russian mindset and thought process with the street interviews.
This type of video, on the other hand, shows the regional features and different peoples and languages, that otherwise would just appear as a Russian (previously Soviet) monolith. Maybe there could be a series of these types of videos, highlighting different regions? As a Finn I´d like to hear those elusive Uralic languages.

An interesting video about rural people and landscapes. Beautiful landscape, but it feels like going back decades - as if time has stopped in this village. The people are friendly and the animals seem happy.

When i was a kid, like 15-18 years ago in our little village people had different animals: chickens, geese, turkeys, rabbits, pigs, cows(like more than 10), some families had a cow or two, i even was a little shepherd with my grandpa). Now its nothing actually left, no cows, old people are dying and young have no time, money and desire to live there(me too), some just go there on the weekend.

Wow! Such beautiful countryside, it’s almost idyllic. Beautiful animals too and subsistence farming too. It reminds me of some parts of Australia actually.
