Big Cedar never fails to provide access to some of the most stunning views in the Ozarks, and we feel so blessed to work with them in these video shoots. This building is modeled on English riding stables and is often used for wedding receptions. Opposite is a quaint European-inspired chapel where we have also filmed a few videos.

Ellen Haygood’s outstanding vocal delivery here reminds us that she could have had a highly successful solo career had she wanted. Whatever personal reasons Ellen had for choosing her current path, fwiw I think her voice makes far more sense musically/artistically within the context of her family and friends. And not needing to be the ‘big star’ in the group shows a level of spiritual freedom that is an example to us all.

Yesterday I linked this to a FB post celebrating the anniversary of marriage to my beautiful wife Debbie. Engaged 5 days after our first date and married 4 months later, I am sure some were saying that was too fast, it probably won't last! - That was 48 years ago, 4 awesome children and 9 (so far) remarkable grandchildren. As the song plays I look back & think of the things my wife & I have gone thru in the past 35 years. We’re more in love today than we were the day we were married. Life can be so hard at times but God Never let’s us go thru it alone. We’re blessed with two children. The doctor told my wife it would be a miracle if she were ever able to have children. I told her way back then that our God still makes miracles happen! 😊

As part of our 55th anniversary celebration, we drove to Branson just to see them, and hear them in person. We requested that Ellen sing this to us. The family dedicated it to our love and sang it to us in person. This was a bucket list item for us and our over half century of loving each other. I play the mandolin as a hobby, and love Their music. This family is the real deal of the Bluegrass music family. Talent, brains, beauty, and genuine American. Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable. We love you guys. If you ever get a chance to see and hear them in person, don’t miss it!

Greetings from Germany. 2 years ago we started to make a one year Roadtrip with my wife trough the USA, we drove 32.000 miles to see 44 states and we made it to the most western point of the USA (Anchor Point Kenai Peninsula Alaska), the most eastern point (at the Canadian Border in Maine), the most northern point of the USA (Deadhorse, Prudhoe Bay Alaska), the most southern point (Key West Florida), the deepest point (Badwater Basin death Valley California) and the highest point (Pikes Peak Colorado) that you can reach by car.
If I hear this song and see these young people, for me this sums up what's the best of the USA in a way. It was an important part of the soundtrack of our trip and we will never forget this time in our entire life. Thank you for the music.
