I can't wait to see how your cuttings do! I wasn't going to get into Anthuriums because I have no clue where I'll put them if they get big like yours. But I went ahead and bought a bunch of them anyway. Of course. So far, I'm really enjoying them - particularly seeing how different each new leaf can be as they size up.

Hey Kevin, when I put an Anthurium in a nursery pot it always has a reservoir. Always. It doesn't matter what substrate, it has a reservoir. They also have a leca layer at the bottom of the pot. I'm a huge underwaterer so that's the only way they will stay alive.

I am a Hoya lover with like 10 Anthurium. They have some serious roots compared to Hoya… or most other things. It's annoying when you need self watering pots (I use them too). I guess I should be thankful that they lose leaves a lot (or we remove them) so we can trim the roots. I rgot a Thai Constellation about a year ago. I can't. These large things are so hard to deal with.
