The best way Tesla can handle the Highland release is by launching it as a new Performance one (like many people suggested and kinda like they did with the Plaid) and increase the price so they can keep selling the remaining inventory ones while ramping up and then replace the lineup entirely. Unless they built new production lines at Freemont that will help during the transition of all the current lines to the refresh Model 3.

I'm guessing 1000 Volt architecture. If they are already using it for Cybertruck, bringing it to all models will bring savings through scaling

Just wondering if there are people who actually are excited about lights design changes. I recently went for an inventory M3 RWD and prioritized saving over new features. Change in lights design will be my lowest regrets when the new model comes out.

I think it’s important to remember the class of car regarding Model 3 (small sedan) and Model Y (small crossover) price. A small sedan should never cost more than a small crossover.

Part of me prefers the old version, but also am the type to warm up to new designs slowly. Fomo would give me buyers freeze

That’s white part next to the tail light are just the backup lights. you can see the artwork doesn’t have backup lights.
