In this video, Dr. Berg talks about the difference between the glycemic index versus the glycemic load.
The glycemic index is how fast a carbohydrate turns into sugar and how it affects the blood sugars, but the glycemic load has to be the concentration of carbohydrates.

Less than 55 is low
56-69 Moderate
Greater than 70 high
GLYCEMIC LOAD
Lower than 10 low
10-20 Moderate
greater than 20 high
