2023 Adolescent Health Symposium - Lecture 1

Lecture 1: Adolescent Wellness Care and Accessing Healthcare
On March 22, People’s Community Clinic’s Center for Adolescent Health hosted its 7th annual Adolescent Health Symposium. This event brought together health care providers, young people and adolescent health experts, who discussed current issues in teen health and wellness, especially mental health. The symposium took place during International Adolescent Health Week (IAHW), a weeklong collaboration that brings young people around the world together to raise awareness of how teens are affected by health issues.
