Volkswagen Touran MPV review - Carbuyer

The Touran's boxy shape might not make it the most attractive of cars, but it also makes the VW one of the most practical small MPVs available. The interior is classy and well built and there's a wide choice of engines, including an efficient BlueMotion version that's very cheap to run.

I suggest this car to newbies for its amazing visibility!
You almost feel like as if you're walking, the road is on your hand. Park assist will help you to adapts faster to its size, if you're scared of it. Air conditioning is very good, and if you need to transport something, there's plenty of room for that. Engine is indestructible.

Good review, regardless of engines, I see where the new one improves, more space and all seats fold flat, I only have 3 kids, but these cars would suit me, be very handy if you buy flat pack stuff or 2nd hand furniture

we have just brought one of these with the1.6 TDI and its got ample power to over take. you also forget your driving a diesel as its so quite. this guy must have bat hearing.

So do most cars in the UK come with a manual shifter standard? I'd say about 80% of the cars in the states are automatic.

I like this car, VW's are tough and last forever, silly middle seats though, what is the point in removing them? just make them able to be placed flat.

Delivery time = forever. Ordered one in the beginning of Jan. Have not received it yet. Bummer!
