While watching this quote came to mind “I am very interested and fascinated by how everyone loves each other, but no one really likes each other" - from the Perks of Being a Wallflower

Very thought provoking, Lana! Love your videos. I'm 62 now and still learning new things. Sometimes from young, intelligent people like you, Lana. Keep being your awesome self!

I'm 17 and lately I was thinking about most of these things you talked about. Thank you for making this video because the answers are clearer now.

I view nostalgia as a bit of a "comfort zone." A place we all go to when we are discontent with our current life. The interesting part, however, is that nostalgia makes the past more glorious than it actually was. The past, present and future are all filled with hardships. But what makes the past unique are the little things that helped us get through the tough times. The songs we used to listen to. The shows and movies we used to watch. The memories we had in school. That grocery store we used to go to but is no longer there because it got demolished and replaced by another business and every time we past by the place I say, "man do you remember there used to be a Kmart here? Those were some good times!" Even the transition from summer to fall where the sky turns grey and the leaves turn brown usually puts me in a nostalgic mood. Anyways, I'm rambling. It's just the part in the video where Lana mentioned nostalgia got me excited.

Thought-provoking video. Kind of reminds me of the saying about life being like a river. You can swim and keep your head above water, but over time, the river will carry you downstream. Life will take you to your future whether you want it to or not.

I have almost died twice and I am in my 30's. It is natural for me to think about my mortality.

yeah, I am an adult now and can’t believe in it. I convinced that there is no adult exist in the world, all are children who plays role of adults.

Life is more than eyes can comprehend. But most people “know” too much to understand this ….When you understand this simple thing, life becomes wonderful, full of joy and love .

Thank you for sharing, really thought provoking. The question like 'where do you see yourself in 5 years' just annoy me, sure I can say I want to become this or that but then again life rarely goes as planned. So now I just embrace curiosity and willingness to learn new, exciting things.

I quite like your existential monologues. Being a human moving through time is such a beautiful experience. Embrace the suck and memento mori.❤

I've struggled with mental wellness for 15+ years, and I must say this video is eye opening. It's not always easy to maintain a happy mood or an uplifting vibe all day, everyday. As I've grown older the more I've realized I'm only human, and that I need to stop beating myself up for not being chipper 24/7. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I've decided to work on loving myself more this year.
