Love everything Spark... only one minor issue. For all the music categories to save your tones to, why isn't there one for Jazz, or a blank one for tones you create? I create certain tones for all my guitars. They are slightly different for the 40 vs the Mini, and are things like STrat/clean/40, Strat/clean/mini etc.. Would be great to have one category just for my own reference. Looking forward to getting my Spark 2!!

No one has said if the amp sims are all new...or just the same thing with an added looper and some AI suggestions .
Note is the AI doing the programming or simply looking up what people have programmed for that sound on-line

I don’t understand the reason behind muting the speaker while using the line out option.

Why did you remove the AMP SELECTION KNOB? Now we have to use the app to select amp mode, which is used far more often than the preset selection! Bad move there vs the Spark-40. Can the foot switch be used to select the amp models, at least?
Good that it's not boomy any longer, though...

Hope you all see this at the PG team but I had a major gripe with the Spark 1's app (mobile because I don't have a tablet). Instead of having to find tones to save to my channel presets, why not incorporate a setlist or song option that has presets saved to it and just upload that so all the tones can be easily moved into my channels without having to search, and set each individual one. Or am I just dumb and this feature already exists / now exists with the Spark 2?

I don't want to sound like a positive grid simp, but I do love the products. I have the RIFF, the GO, the Mini, and the orginal Spark 40, plus Bias FX and amps. I'm not entirely sure I even need this, especially because it isn't much of a discount for previous owners. I guess if it were $200, I'd probably pull the trigger, but I really can't justify owning it. Anyway, glad it's getting upgraded.

Looks nice- but I just bought a spark live and external looper last month. Makes me wish I’d waited a few weeks. Don’t know how much I’d have to pay to get AI. Might just have to search for tones the old fashion way and keep my spark live …..

So when you connect it now to the spark cab do the speaker of the spark2 stay on? When i connect my spark to the spark cab the speaker are off because the out on the spark 40 is the headphone out. With the spark 2 now we have line outs on the back of the spark2 so do the speaker stay on while its connected to the cab?
I never really liked the tone over the headphone out so i mic the spark 40 into the cab. Sounded much better to me then the headphone out :)

I'll wait for a few months I think, the Bluetooth connectivity issues and muddiness led me to sell my spark 1

Hold on, battery sold separately ?! You need to buy batteries and not recharge them ? Or how does that work, I do not want to buy a lot of batteries all the time, but It is better than no batteries at all but please make it rechargeable :)
