KPHO-TV news opens

Yes I know they simulcast with KTVK. Seeing that most of the simulcasts use KTVK’s theme (and graphics prior to 2020), I will be putting them in KTVK’s compilation. However, the noon simulcast with the old graphics is included here since it uses KPHO’s graphics.

The "5 Minute News" was an attempt by KPHO (which had just got back the CBS affiliation around 1993-4) to compete with the other 10pm newscasts. It was 5 minutes of news, (which pretty much is enough time for news in PHX) then a Seinfeld rerun, then Letterman. It didn't last a long time-KPHO went back to a normal 30 minute newscast at 10pm.
