Rebuilding A Wrecked 2022 Corvette!

What's going on guys in todays video we go pick up our new rebuild its a 2022 corvette c8 with some serious damage it looks like it was side swipped by a tree! This one should be fun to build up as it's the first time working on a corvette!

Nice find. Great to see you are restoring it! Shame someone trashed it so early in its life. If you are curious, this is a 1LT. You can tell by the black speaker covers. The 10 speaker Bose sound system is standard. The 2LT and 3LT editions have a 14 speaker Bose system, easily spotted by their silver speaker covers.

I saw some kind of module dangling from the undercarriage while the forklift was moving it. I hope the bottom is not too damaged. Good project car.

Nice to see you going AMERICAN, unlike the GSquad who can't seem to understand how to work on American cars, you Sir are an artist when it comes to repairing cars. Keep up the hard work. Maybe start doing some running, loose some of that gut and back. Take it from an old guy and former Marine and runner. When you get older it takes longer to drop the weight. I remember a few years ago watching you, and you've puffed up a bit. Not busting your balls just an observation . I've knocked off more that a 100lbs since last June. Hey Ben, not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but the glovebox is lockable so that you can leave the car with the roof down. Excellent car to work on, really looking forward to see how you go with this one. PS - the M2 looks great, nice work 🙂

tip for you all. If you are ever cleaning broken glass from carpeting, use a dual action sander...just put it on the carpet with no sandpaper on it and turn it on...the vibrating will make all the crap in the carpet bounce up and down and you can vacuum more out of it.
