You didn't mention one of the biggest differences. On the swingman, the purple, white and yellow ribbing goes all the way around in a full circle. On the authentic, it has the same ribbing on the arms, but it cuts off half way.

What's crazy is that the last 2 years the jerseys they actually wear on the court aren't stitched. They are heat pressed for less weight . So honestly the swingman in terms of fit is closer to the real thing aside from couple small differences

Great comparison and content as always. NikeConnect is just marketing nonsense, and I think Nike made that to differentiate between an authentic item and a fake one since fakes are so common. It really serves no other purpose like you said.
