thank you for this review. I sold my tribute L-2000 from 2010 and I replaced it with a US L-2000 from 1998. The sound in your video is quite close to what I get with my bass. The tribute was also very close. I am surprised with the tone of the ASAT : it's quite brighter... any problem with neck dive ?

what do you attribute to the older bass sounding grittier? The mahogany body?

Is the older (93) bass larger or heavier? that is exactly the sound I'm looking for.
