Personally, I'd always advise going for nominable crates over random ones for two reasons:
1) At the end of the season, half of your creates and shards will be converted into threads
2) Threads are much easier to farm compared to shards.

Hear me out. 24 random creates should net you, on average, 48 random shards. But if those shards go towards a character that you aren't trying to buy or you can't reach 400 fragments by the end of the season, those 48 shards become 24 shards by season 2. And 12 shards by season 3.

Comparatively, 15 nominable creates are pretty much always worth 30 shards - because you know exactly what you are going to get, it's MUCH easier to reach 400 fragments for your desired characters before the season ends.

And if you have any leftover nominable creates by the end of the season... Yeah, half of them will be turned into threads. But half of them get turned into season 2 nominable creates, which are much more valuable than random frags that you may or may not need in season 2.

If converting shards was still the only way to farm threads, or if you didn't lose half your shards by the end of the season... Than yeah, random creates would be more efficient on the long run, even if it took longer to get the specific shards you want the most. But in the current state of the game, nominable creates are much more efficient.

After doing my math about thread luxcavations I concluded that is better to skip than to play manual, you get 60 thread for every 40 modules spent playing manually and 50 thread for every 40 modules when you skip which is like 75% efficiency, you basically miss out 10 thread but save a lot of time, in my opinion it's worth it

I want to make an amendment, if you don’t buy a pass, then for raising the level after 60 it gives only 1 box

A big tip for if you don’t want to convert ego shards into thread is to always skip battle for the thread luxcavation, this give you 27 thread a day rather than 18. It costs more energy but still pretty worth it

Regarding your daily routine.
For maximizing shard/thread gain, it is better to go for MD runs rather than Exp Luxcavation.

If you do 7 runs per week. Completing the daily and weekly missions will give you 18 BP for 14 enkephalin modules.

Instead, if you funnel those modules in MD runs, you would get 4.66 MD runs (14/3). Doing those will give you an amount of 4.5* 7 = 31.5 BP for the same enkephalin modules.

I would strongly advise to do Exp Luxcavation ONLY IF absolutely necessary (take into account that events at this point in time give us enough exp to max level 2 IDs, and that ID exp is irrelevant for MD runs)

John, info on 9:30 concerning the pity for single pulls is in fact INCORRECT. Guaranteed 00 pity is ONLY for 10 pulls.

For example: 1 single pull + 1 single pull +...+1 single pull = doesn't guarantee 00 pity.

10 pulls = guaranteed 00 unit
