Honestly there were some animations that was way better and way more creative than the winners☠️I feel they didn’t watch all the vids

Hi Flipaclip! Thank you for organizing the film festival! It's a great way to encourage creativity. The participant pool is indeed very diverse, aligning with your motto 'from pros to beginners.' While the selection criteria for winners are sensible, the varying levels of training and experience mean that not all participants have an equal chance of winning.

I'm particularly thinking about the many kids and teenagers who joined the live chat yesterday. Their videos were incredibly creative, but understandably, they didn't exhibit the same level of finish and artistic rendering as those of professionals or experienced artists. It's challenging for them to compete on an equal footing.

For this reason, I'd like to suggest introducing participant 'categories' based on age or level of training, ensuring a more balanced and fair competition for everyone involved. Looking forward to the next edition of the Film festival!

Congrats to the winners! I wish I was able to finish my free style one in time 😔. I really did work hard on the story, overall design an everything too, then school hit around and I just didn't have the time. I guess I do have a concept video for it, if anyone was interested.

Very disappointed...the story felt so close to my heart. I am referring to "Carioca Ink". I put a lot of effort into making the characters seem real that includes the ocean. I am actually from South America so I feel like my animation was more authentic than the winner. Anyway I will not participate again. It was too much effort for no reason. 😢💔😓

there were far better animations especially in the freestyle and carioca ink catagory... they hadn't saw all of those.... this feels miserable 🙂🥲

That Freestyle category, I can't accept the winner result. Because BSM (Bitter Sweet Memories) & Karma have much big effort especially in their plot story & artsyle! How the simple kids comedy cartoon style can got victory?!😫😫
And more unacceptable, BSM Shortfilm animation was most heavy drama shortfilm ever to join this event. But never nominated. What the hell is this?😭😭
Btw I have join Freestyle category too with my Car Racing animation "D'Last Lap". But I'm accept reality my shortfilm never nominated 😢
