Great choice for a beck tune. I heard the news the other night and i am gutted. For my money, jeff was the greatest living guitarist….the most original and unique player i have ever heard. So glad i got to see him several times of the years. For another taste of how ridiculous his approac was, check out ‘Brush with the blues’. The letters WTF come to mind….as they often do while listening to him. Rest in Peace mr beck…and thank you for being alive during my lifetime…😔

What a unique contribution and true to his own unique path. First saw Jeff on his first US tour with the Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart singing. Savoy Brown opened in small venue near New Paltz New York. We did the light show which consisted of an overhead projector with colored liquid oil blobs mixing under a plastic sheet. Haha. I was 14 helping the guy doing it. The show was great and made me a lifetime fan. He was playing a Les Paul then and after the show as we were cleaning up, he ran out yelling that someone had stolen his guitar. Maybe that’s when he switched to the Strat! I listened to Truth over and over that summer,
just amazed. What a class act and talent!

This one hit me hard…he seemed so healthy recently and I’ve spent hours and will continue to spend hours listening to the incomparable Jeff Beck…he has played some of the most beautiful melodic lines but has a way of giving you things you never thought you’d hear on a guitar..a true innovator!

Such a sad, shocking piece of news. Nobody saw this coming at all. Jeff was still out there, at the top of his game and just killing it. We are never prepared for this. This was a great song from one of his greatest albums. Nice way to pay tribute Harri.

I worshiped Jeff when I was a kid. I actually played Blow by Blow until the grooves in the record wore out. Very sad indeed to see him go.

Loved Jeff since I was 15 (1974). Saw him live in '76 after "Wired" came out. Tommy Bolin was his opening act. I also loved him because he was a car (Hot Rod guy) and could rebuild an engine with his own hands. That gives you an idea of the skill and intelligence he had. He understood the beauty and power of music and pursued it his whole life.

It seems that the great artist of my younger days are gone way too soon. It seems like only yesterday when I listening to Jeff Beck's brilliance with the Yard birds. However Beck only went up from there in talent and showmanship. RIP Jeff Beck.
