02:19 When i am moving my selection tool over it is not showing two seperate shapes divided by zig zag line. Why is that?

Hi, could you help me? I'm having some trouble with the shape build tool i guess.. At 2:50, i can't select the right side to delete, because after i delete the first part, the tool stay blocked, like it has some circle in it.. I don't know exactly how explain. Thanks!
