I think it's terrible that our nation was captured by an ideology that didn't want to discuss the very real complexities and issues of gender dysphoria, especially for impressionable minors. Instead of a nuanced discussion about mental health issues and the best approach to help people struggling with gender dysphoria, which would have included comparing existing mental health treatments against the very new "Gender-Affirming Care" ideas, most of our nation kowtowed to trans activists and simply touted "Gender-Affirming Care" as the only way to move forward. Many lives will forever be destroyed because of this.
