For newer models, unplug the dryer. Press & hold the power button for 5 seconds. Then press & hold the start button for 5 seconds. Then plug back in and add device via the LG ThinQ app.

My dryer was connected since installed last November (2021), but suddenly disconnected last night (2/7/22) and the wireless icon won’t come on when I turn the power on. Meanwhile, the washer next to it (its pair) continues to work fine and has a strong signal. I unplugged the dryer and my iPhone discovers it as [LG_Dryer]6408 which is different from the original network information when I first connected to our wireless network. How do I get the wireless icon back on the device manually if it’s not coming on automatically? Should I remove the device from my app and re-add as new? HELP, PLEASE!!!

My new WM4500B washing machine has no wifi issue. But sadly my new DLEX4500B dryer is constantly having wifi issues and keep showing “disconnected “ status in LG ThinkQ app.

I was getting bad password router which I knew it was not true, I successfully had connected my washer already, an error in the trouble shooting guide seem to imply to shut down the cellular data (although not truly related) so I tired and that somehow worked! Hope it works for others - I reconnected the cellular data. And dryer still showing - so far ao good

We have to pull the dryer out . Unplug the 220 and then follow this ridiculous procedure. Not good . My LG washer and stove connected. Took me 5 minutes.wifi light blinks but my dryer LG WiFi not seen. What a total disappointment
