1. Draw the Sensory Organ
Start with a simple structure like a hand or any sensory organ (e.g., skin).
Add small sensory receptors to indicate stimulus detection.
2. Draw the Sensory Neuron
From the sensory organ, draw an arrow representing the sensory neuron.
Label it as Afferent Pathway.
3. Add the Spinal Cord
Draw a vertical oval or rectangle to represent the spinal cord.
Include the dorsal root ganglion where the sensory neuron passes.
4. Draw the Interneuron
Inside the spinal cord, draw a connecting neuron to represent the interneuron.
Show the interneuron as a link between the sensory and motor neurons.
5. Draw the Motor Neuron
From the spinal cord, draw another arrow
representing the motor neuron.
Label it as Efferent Pathway.
6. Add the Effector Organ
At the end of the motor neuron, draw a muscle or gland to represent the effector organ.
Show the reaction (e.g., muscle contraction or withdrawal).
7. Label the Diagram
Clearly label the sensory receptor, sensory neuron, interneuron, motor neuron, and effector organ.
8. Add Arrows for Signal Direction
Use arrows to indicate the flow of impulses:
From receptor → sensory neuron → spinal cord → motor neuron → effector.
