If possible, could you please pick a topic of corruption: types of it (if there are any), how to detect it, fix it, safeguard from it and the performance penalty we get with this safeguard mechanism.

Niolay, you are too easily bored! LOL. This is a great (and very interesting) topic. I try to avoid the Bleeding Edge, because I don't like to bleed. My experience is that updates (security fixes) has been fine...
