Lamborghini Urus vs Tesla Model X | 1/4 Mile Drag Race and Analysis

We look at two high performance SUVs: The Lamborghini Urus and Tesla Model X. We compare specifications and race the Urus against different versions of the X including the Performance, Long Range, and Plaid! All results from the drag races are can be found below.

Model X Performance(Raven): 0-60mph: 2.80s | 1/4 mile: 11.0s @122.4mph

The Ravens are 2020 models and the refresh are 2022 models.

It's a fun match up. Especially first comparing the Raven Model X, then the 2022 Model X LR, and finally the Plaid Model X. The new Model X Plaid was no surprise, but I was wondering how the Model X LR would do considering that DragTimes shows the Raven Model X beating the Urus, but the Model S Performance Raven seems pretty close in the top end acceleration to the 2022 Model S LR because of that flat torque curve. I believe that Tesla is software limiting the launch of the LR Model S, and will do the same for the LR Model X. I expect to see performance increase over the air once any of the competition catches up to today's performance of any of these models. Which may be a while yet.
