June Shows Rapid Growth in U.S. EV Sales Over Auto Market

Tesla led with 60,929 units, despite a 2.4% decline. Ford followed with 6,298 units, up 18.2%. Kia saw a remarkable 105.9% increase to 5,194 units. Rivian registered 4,982 units, an 8.3% rise. Hyundai had 4,852 units, down 3.4%.

Chevrolet registered 3,721 units, a 30.6% drop. BMW saw a 3% increase with 3,449 units. Nissan's registrations surged 80.1% to 2,379 units. Cadillac saw a massive 403.9% increase to 2,182 units. Mercedes-Benz registered 1,903 units, down 43.3%.

Analyst Kent Chiu noted strong incentives as a key motivator. EV market share in June reached 8.9%, up from 7.9% last year.
