Catacomb Abyss 3D longplay - 4K with CatacombGL - finished the first time I played it - MS-DOS 20

(English below) Longplay de Catacomb Abyss, segundo juego de la saga Catacomb, lanzado en 1992 por Softdisk Publishing.

Hace poco publiqué un gameplay del primer juego, Catacomb 3-D de id Software, jugando con el source port CatacombGL, el cual permite jugar a todos los juegos de dicha saga en Windows modernos con gráficos HD. Por curiosidad me puse a probar esta segunda entrega, siendo la primera vez que lo jugaba... y me lo he terminado. Me ha sorprendido lo corto y fácil que es, jugando en la máxima dificultad, "Warrior". Supongo que el poder jugar con control moderno y tener un mapa disponible, ayuda mucho. En fin, a lo tonto y sin haberlo planeado, pues traigo otro gameplay completo al canal.

Longplay of Catacomb Abyss, second game of the Catacomb saga, released in 1992 by Softdisk Publishing.

I recently published a gameplay of the first game, Catacomb 3-D by id Software, playing with the CatacombGL source port, which allows to play all the games of this saga in modern Windows with HD graphics. Out of curiosity I tried this second installment, being the first time I played it... and I finished it. I was surprised how short and easy it is, playing on the highest difficulty, "Warrior". I guess being able to play with modern controls and having a map available, helps a lot. Anyway, without having planned it, I bring another complete gameplay to the channel.

Omg I remember this!!
It was on the computer I was assigned for typing class a long time ago! I can’t believe how much I remember. I would play this the entire time during our 45 minute period 😂😂

I agree that the modern controls and automap from the source port can make the game easier than originally intended. Nevertheless, the original DOS game is also relatively easy due to the abundance of power-ups and health potions. A playthrough of 90 minutes is pretty common. In any case, thanks for using CatacombGL in your video's. I appreciate it!
