We're not looking over Tulane. Trust me...

FSU starting 0-3 would be nuts. Everyone chalked all those games up as easy wins going into the year.

As a Sooner fan, I’m definitely looking at Tulane instead of Tennessee right now. Our offense has been booty cheeks

I think Oregon-Oregon State. It’s just a feeling, a feelings that the Beavers may smell blood in the water from some cuts the Ducks received during Idaho and Boise State. I think the Beavs come out and play hard, potentially blitz heavy and ground and pound.

The vibe w/ Sooners fans is actually Tulane WILL be a dog fight

Tennessee game may be OU getting blow out on national TV

Scan the rosters of NFL teams and you'll likely be SHOCKED how often a former Memphis player pops up.

Man, OU's missing the starting OL and top 4/5 WR's... yeah, I'm a little worried.

FSU losing is an upset? Based on their effort, execution and play calling thus far, I don’t expect a win.

Its interesting that the 2 teams HEAVILY relying on the Transfer Portal are the 2 really struggling right now.

LSU - South Carolina : I think LSU hasn't really figured out their identity on defense quite yet. It looked better against USC, but then they let Nicholls score on three drives that were at least 75 yards each. One is a fluke or blown play, 3 is concerning against a team like Nicholls. On the flip side, who the hell is South Carolina? Old Dominion is no stranger to shocking upsets, but to turn around from that to the absolute beat down they put on Kentucky. If that South Carolina shows up, particularly their defense, I think they have enough of a run game to control time of possession and really shorten things in their favor.

Boston College - Mizzou : I'll get laughed out for this one, and it might just be another ACC-SEC blow out (Georgia over Clemson, Tennessee over NC State), but I think it has all the trappings of...well a trap. Mizzou lost a LOT of their defense (was it 5 NFL draft picks?), and I don't know that we learned anything about their replacements facing off against Murray State and Buffalo. BC's Castellanos is a dynamic player, and a hell of a lot of fun to watch. I think he's the type of player every defense they face is going to struggle with. It's not going to be about stopping him so much as limiting his impact on the game. Finally, BC's run defense might actually be pretty good. Maybe FSU and Duquesne are just that terrible, but still, holding 2 teams under 100 yards rushing combined is impressive. If Mizzou can't run as effectively, and their defense didn't in fact reload (they're not Georgia after all), this could be an interesting game. On the other hand if FSU does just suck that much, and BC can't stop the run, and Mizzou did in fact reload on defense and can contain Castellanos, well it's gonna be another "banner" day for the ACC. Vegas has this at 15.5, and I think at minimum BC covers. I'm chosing to believe it's not smoke and mirrors and would put Mizzou on upset alert, particularly since they've not face any competition and might be feeling good about themselves.

Oregon - Oregon State : I wouldn't have put this anywhere near an upset watch pre-season, but two things happened. One Oregon inexplicably stinks. I say inexplicably because if you look at the stats they should have been blowing teams out, particularly week one, and then you look at the score and you're like, hang on a second. That wouldn't be enough to sell me on a potential upset. Gevani McCoy has been efficient, and their RBs Hankerson and Griffin are really really good at 5.7 and 6.6 ypc respectively. The entire team is averaging over 5.5 ypc and have 599 total yards through 2 games. Yes I know against who, but what's Oregon done against similar "whos"? It's a rivalry game, it's a Pac 12 abandonment game. These kids know what the other kids got having their team go to the B1G, and they might want to prove a point about the now resurrected 6 Pac.

Ole Miss - Wake Forest : I'm just kidding, this is going to be a slaughter.

Sooners fans are DEFINITELY worried about Tulane. We know what to expect from them, but the question is if we can do anything about it. Hopefully they have a few surprises, a few healthy young bucks looking for the shot to show what they can do.

I'm a Mizzou fan, and wondering how you didn't mention Mizzou vs BC lol

Tulane should have beat K-State and K-State is currently curb stomping ranked Arizona. Oklahoma is in trouble...book it.

As a Mizzou fan, Boston College is not getting enough credit here. Sure, Florida State hasn't been as advertised, but they are still 2-0 with a win over a then Top 25 opponent and have themselves crept into the Top 25. Sure, the Mizzou defense will probably stifle BCs offense, but if Mizzou's offense doesn't start off fast, I think BC can keep it close and that puts that game in a scary spot for the Tigers.

Tulane will beat OU! Tulane 21 - OU 14. Just load the box and blitz and make Arnold prove he’s a 5-star recruit.

Look for Gamecocks to struggle against Akron for some reason. If they don't blow them out by 40 we going no where except back to all the talk and noting ever happening on the field, other than the season being over at the end of November.

Uh, we won 66-7. Too little, too late, but we won 66-7. Josh has been evenhanded wth us before--it's not a knock on him, but we still have some kick he and others didn't acknowledge. I agree with him that Freeman is not yet a good coach, but BK by that criterion would have been a "good" coach who could never win a big game.
Brings up the question, though, whether we get in the playoffs or not. December and January will be dominated by playoff games. So what happens to the bowls? Do they become even more meaningless than before? Will playoff losers be invited to bowl games?
