Just so we're clear, blue java bananas are real, but the pic used is edited. The real blue color is MUCH more subtle, and they're only blue when unripe. As they ripen they turn yellow. But yes, they taste like vanilla and have the consistency of ice cream

Blue bananas are a real thing btw. So are red ones if I remember correctly. They're often grown in South America, Indonesia, or warm southern areas.
Edit: I double-checked, and yeah, there are red bananas, orangey bananas, and blue bananas. The insides aren't colored though, they're the usual color. Fun fact, apparently they have different tastes, like the blue ones supposedly taste like vanilla ice cream
