The Glow Up is REAL - Extreme Furniture Makeover

For this video we take my old practice table (which looks horrible) and completely turn it around and give it a much-deserved GLOW UP! We will use some paint, gold leaf and a little trick I like to use with dark wax and mineral spirits for some aging. This furniture transformation is going to completely change the way you look at old, beat-up furniture!

Ah Kacha, my very 1st teacher when I started my upcycling journey 2 yrs ago! Now it is a good side income and of course a hobby so I'll always be grateful for your easy to understand, beginner friendly tutorials, and for the fact you don't talk for 45 mins straight (the way some other artists do ) but you keep you videos concise and to the point! 😊 💛💚💜

As for the piece, I love that you chose an old, rather ugly, beat up piece. Those big, glamorous, richly carved furniture pieces are easy to make beautiful whichever colour we choose, because they're beautiful to begin with.

But to take a small, modest or ugly unit and turn it into THAT - it is a much harder endeavour so so beautifully done! Now I'm inspired to make something in gold and red 😊
