Показать описание
Today I am partnering with Minxwax to share their brand new Water Based Color Stains with you! These stains are similar to a paint with limitless color options, but they allow the wood grain and texture to shine through the color! These stains are available in both semi transparent and new solid opacities. Come along with me as I create colorful wood planters and show you how easy it is to use this wonderful new color stain! #MinwaxPartner
Benefits of Minwax Water Based Color Stains:
Dries fast in just one hour making it possible to complete your project in one day!
Only 1 coat is needed for rich color!
Over 200 color options available, endless creativity!
Adds color to projects while letting wood texture and grain remain visible!
How to use Minwax Color Stain:
• Prep: Be sure to sand off any existing paint, stain, or finish from your wood piece. Then apply a water-based wood conditioner to prevent blotchiness. Allow the conditioner to rest for 15-30 minutes, sand, and repeat 2-3x.
• Stain: After the prep work is done, it’s time to stain! Apply 1 coat of the Water-Based Color Stain with a clean paint brush. If using a Semi-Transparent Color Stain, wipe away excess with a lint free rag. If using a Solid stain, wipe away excess with a synthetic applicator pad. Allow the stain to cure for 2-3 hours.
• Protect: Once the stain is dry, sand with a 220 grit sand paper block, then protect with Minwax Polycrylic Protective Finish.
Product List:
• Wood Planters
• 2 Pad edger & 2 pad refill
Minwax Solid Stain Colors:
Coriander & Olive
Royal Pine
