Blocks doesn't give you lot of silvers, this resource only used on island buildings or stations repair. Different from the other resources when it can crafted into equipment and somewhat can be trashed in lethal zone.

the other night on mobile, three 4.3 fiber nodes spawned on the same screen outside of thetford (blue zone) lmao, I camped them for 30 mins made 2.2m. Sometimes safe zones do surprising things.
