I really like mine. I treated myself to an early birthday gift back in March. I was tempted to wait for the automatic version, but I'm still pleased with the quartz.

The PRX looks like a great stylish set it and forget it watch that can be worn daily in or out of the office. While I tend to wear mechanical watches most of the time I have no issue at all with wearing a quartz watch. I would have preferred the date at the six position, a minor gripe.

I bought the Tissot PRX 40mm Quartz with the black dial and it is a fantastic time piece, the intergrated bracelet is super comfortable along with the butterfly clasp which is the perfect selection of bracelet for this incredible watch.

I have a quartz dress/office/daily watch, too. I'm not at all embarassed by my quartz Grand Seiko finely adjusted to +-5 seconds a YEAR. It's a piece of art.

I would pull the trigger on automatic 80 version if it was smaller, say 37mm or 38mm.

Dimensions sound small but it wears big. The first link of the bracelet extends the lug to lug dramatically. It’s a nice watch but if it were a 38mm it would be sweet.

Wish I could get the powermatic PRX with the dial of the quartz. Waffle pattern on the auto is too “AP homage” for me

These are the same purists, who, upon finding out AP, Rolex, FPJ and Patek make quartz watches, will buy them immediately, but they'll hate on quartz Tissot, Seiko, Longines, and Grand Seiko.

On my 8 inch wrist, I cannot wait to get the automatic. That quartz is out of alignment.

Nothing wrong with quartz but unless the lithium battery is recharged by solar power, it gets bloody frustrating if the battery dies, resulting inevitably with a trip to the local watch technician to get the battery replaced. Otherwise, this is a sound and very pleasant watch, especially for the price. Great video!

yesterday I got mine, for 260€ in Palma de Gran Canaria (they do lower taxes there). only cons, the wristband doesn't have those 3 small holes to adjust your size preference anytime you wish using a needle. also, the date pointer is rather small, and I've pretty decent eyesight. everything else, excelent. Sry for bad English.
