With President Biden's move to ban Russian oil, the impact will hit more than just gas prices. CBS2's Jenna DeAngelis reports on how consumers could feel the squeeze on everything from food to your energy bill.

This is common sense. If gas costs more, so will the cost of transporting goods go up and it generates a domino effect.

Only 8% of our oil came from Russia last year. Prices are skyrocketing because these oil companies know they can benefit off the current world events

2021 the US imported 97% of their oil from elsewhere than Russia.

In 2020 it was 99%.

Why don't we talk about big oil intentionally rasing prices and slowing production to artificially inflate prices with the intent of recouping 2020 and 2021's losses?
