Panasonic Lumix GH4 WiFi Setup & App Tour

This is the first video in a series of videos that I'm putting together for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4. In this video I'll be showing you how to setup the WiFI feature of this DSLR with your mobile device and I'll be giving you a tour of the Image App that helps you take control of your camera remotely.

You can use the app without using a password, much quicker to use it that way. Also you CAN set focus point in the app, just touch your finger to where you want the focus point to be, the box will move to that point and focus there. This is an amazing app and makes my video work so much easier to frame and focus where I want. I just got the Lumix DMC G7H, what an amazing camera! The image resolution in video and images is absolutely stunning. Yeah it'll set you back close to $900 with the 40-140mm zoom, or less with the shorter zoom lens, but the camera is full of incredible funcitonality and tricks, the app for phone and iPad just makes it a real bargain for high quality video and image shooting.

getting wi-fi on the phone is easy. Using Wi-fi to send pictures to the computer is much harder. I've wasted hours trying. (Yes, I've read the manual, but still no luck.) Any help?

For some reason when i press fn1 I get a please wait and the camera locks up. I even downloaded most recent firmware and still get the lock up at random. Very frustrating considering i have to pull the battery out just to turn off the camera. I have used it before but mostly it locks up and its very frustrating

Thanks for the vid. For some reason when I push the f1 button on my gh4 I get a please wait message with an hour glass and it never does anything. I have even tried to turn off the camera And it stays on . The only way that I can get it to turn off is to take the battery out and put it back in. No last night I was able to get a Wi-Fi connection without the please wait message but this morning I had to please wait message and it lasts forever.. what could this be? Has nothing to do with connecting to Wi-Fi is the fact that it’s not doing anything and connecting to the program on the camera showing the ssid and password. Any ideas? Can the GH4 be upgraded via the firmware? Thanks . Love the vid
