Rupert Holmes opens up about new novel 'Murder Your Employer'

Rupert Holmes, who has worked with stars and is the man behind the "Pina Colada Song," has published a new mystery novel. He sat down with Jeff Glor.

I've always wondered what ever happened to Rupert Holmes.
Bought the album in 1979, loved it, nearly wore it out. Then didn't hear him on Casey Kasem's top 40 countdown anymore. Nice to see he had a good life.

When I think of Rupert Holmes, I think of his television series "Remember WENN". I love it much more than that silly pop song.

He also wrote the song you've got it all and let the Jets make it huge. Holmes wrote it for his 10-year-old daughter Wendy but she never got to hear it become a hit, as prior to its release she died suddenly of an undiagnosed brain tumour.[

I want to congratulate Rupert Holmes for proving that anyone can do anything at any time. The fact that in the seventies, he performed on some of the same stages as many of my favorite musicians, proves this.
