I really hate that Connor only got one game and that’s it no other information about not even an on screen death as quickly as he came into our lives he left

What breaks my heart is that Connor literally made the independence possible to honor his mother and his ultimate reward was watching his people getting genocide and dying alone

Fighting against injustice and tyrany is a never ending fight.

As you can see what broke this man's heart is that even though Connor faced the Templar and drove them and the British out of America with the help of the French and Patriots. There was a new threat, slavery, and it's pretty obvious.

This is one of the most powerful scenes in the series. What was so great about Connor's story was the moral questioning of the Brotherhood as an entity and meaningfully reflective introspection about the actual purpose of the Assassins in ever-changing times.

Altair & Ezio taught us about what the Assassins are and were meant to be - but Connor taught us the harsh reality of what it means to endure as an Assassin. Through Connor, we understand that the ability to judge right from wrong – that doing the right thing – can sometimes be lost on a world reluctant to do so.

It was a bittersweet lesson about how the life of an Assassin is bounded not by your own individual desires, but about the higher purpose of preserving humanity's free will despite all of its imperfections. It served as a deconstruction onto the actual meaning of heroism, sacrifice, and how those concepts pertained to Connor and the Brotherhood respectively who all live in a world of gray.

Free will is what the Assassin's strived to protect. Templars argued that free will breeds contempt and therefore must be destroyed. Assassin's said that humanity will find its way across dogma and division with free will, and the the templars have no right to rule others. Connor now realised that in spite of free will, there will always be an oppressor. The Assassin's creed is not meant to influence politics or change society- society throws forth leaders to shake off the yoke of oppression. The creed only protects the delicate balance of free will. That is why, in every Assassin's creed game, the creed focuses on elimination of templars who affect free will- and aiding of agents who bring change- but not directly becoming agents of change.

For they know their power, and they know that if they play a role in shaping the world in what they believe to be an ideal image, they shall be no better than the templars they fight.

I loved this game and the topics it talked about, being a Native in the colonial period, especially one that had a white father and the identity issues that came with that. The very accurate depictions of Kanien'kehá:ka life, the struggle of racism during that period. We needed more of Connor and his story

people criticised conors character for always being angry, which never made sense to me because he was a young man who was constantly being betrayed. No shit he was angry all the time.

Always wanted a sequel to this story with the colonists pushing West and the dwindling of the Native tribes. Would have made a crazy story seeing the new world Connor fought for turn on its head when the tribes were slaughtered and the slavery began to ramp up.

I remember playing this game over a decade ago. Really enjoyed the story and gameplay. The ending was bittersweet. Sure Connor thwarted the Templars, killed his father and Charles Lee. But he didn’t really win. His people were forced out. The freedom promised to the colonies didn’t include everyone.

What's also sad is he knows he helpes these people get power. All so he could help his people. In the end the only ones he helped was his next enemy. Funny how they kept saying they would make a better world but they rule no better
